We won 1st place & 50k in credits for @river_ai_inc at @ycombinator own your intelligence hackathon?!!
my main event is the 100m fly. i had a 13 yr swimming career. i competed in d2 and got national 2nd place in the 100m fly. when i train, i train toward the olympics. even though i didn't end up competing there, swimming is the anchor and foundation of my life.
i used to swim 10k a day and spend more time in the pool than in school. i joined my provincial team with the worst bone age and physical development in history.
i grew up with dyslexia. i wrote mirrored characters. it took me hours to go over what other kids finished in 10 mins. i had to go thru a lengthy and torturous intervention program, surrounded by bias and stereotypes that neurodivergence was a deficit. i knew i had to change that.
so together with 5 other neurodivergent kids, we started have fun studio at 13. we built 15 games and toolchains for gamedev, got funding, and sold our games to clinics, labs, and hospitals to help thousands of kids. we got an office and money to afford compute.
i spent 5 yrs in institutions across the globe doing all kinds of brain research, mutually inspiring my games and production.
i value aesthetics a lot. i wanna build smth that's inherently beautiful and decrease entropy in a certain region.
everything i undertake, i really love and feel intrinsically attracted to. i find discomfort & risk comforting. i believe everyone and everything is interconnected, and i trust my intuition 100%.
i'm here to have fun.
this is a compilation of all my content and social media stuff. none of this would be as real as a quick chat :)
let's chat ↗Essays and long-form writing.
