We won 1st place & 50k in credits for @river_ai_inc at @ycombinator own your intelligence hackathon?!!

We were there to mostly have fun and experiment, but ended up finding River super useful to solve a small problem I run into daily: my Claude/Codex never speaks like me!!!

No matter how much context I give it, getting it to learn my vibe and vocab is sooo hard.

So I used River to fine-tune Qwen3.8-27B on my own Claude Code/Codex sessions, X/gmail/imsg to actually speak like me. waa it’s soooo good, this is EXACTLY what I’d say to Claude LOL (see pic 3)

Now I can type “@v + optional prompt” in any text box and get 3 options in my voice to autofill. It reads the surrounding context and can also rewrite anything I highlight in my tone. Already using it to draft a lot of stuff, including part of this post :)

my 20th hackathon win and a special one for @ianalin123 and I - our first win together after starting @try_maglev. Missed the closing ceremony bc we headed back to work but had a blast!!!!
